Summer 2012 – Present

At Dr. Yu & Associates, I act as an assistant to managers and front desk staff, doing essential tasks on a daily basis including:
·        processing patient records in order to enable front staff efficiency and correspond with referring doctors’ offices in order to maintain relationships in the industry
·         analyzing new patient lists to find trending reasons patients decline treatment
·         collecting data on procedure fees in order to determine new rates for 2013
At Dr. Yu's periodontal office I am able to implement my organization skills and at the same time learn about business routines and team work.

Fall 2012- Present

As an officer for the ALD-PES honor society at The University of Texas, I am responsible for:
·        editing and creating the organization’s scrapbook in order to accurately and creatively represent the activities and traits of the organization
·        documenting social and service events through photography which will be for the scrapbook, website, advertisements, and slideshows
·        recommending and planning several scrapbooking events, including reserving space and providing food and materials
 
·        hosting meetings on a weekly basis for over 100 members to make announcements and answer various questions

Summer 2008 - Summer 2012

At Crestview Minimax, I was a well-rounded employee who worked in all areas of the store:
·        assisted up to 30 customers per hour while fulfilling duties as part of a dynamic service team, including maintaining health standards in designated areas, locating products for consumers, and restocking merchandise
·         recommended changes in layout and product arrangement to improve sales, while also maintaining an assigned section of the store, including organizing and ordering new products for that section
·         interacted with customers in order to promote a friendly reputation helping to earn a 5 star grade from the International Grocers Association
Here, I learned about customer service and polished my people skills.

Fall 2011

As a childcare provider I:
·       coordinated with parents on a daily basis to plan changing activities in children’s schedule and facilitated timely transportation to and from children’s weekly commitments
·        assisted with homework on a daily basis, including spelling, math, reading, and gymnastics practice
·        formulated stimulating activities for elementary school children, including games that integrated educational ideas
Through childcare I was able to learn about patience, coordination, and the importance of timeliness.
